If you are surrendering puppies, please consider spaying and/or neutering your dogs. If you find that you can no longer keep your dog, we may be able to help. We are sorry that you and your dog have come to this point. If we can help you, we will. Please answer all questions truthfully. This section is on Surrendering your dog to Rescue. Openheart is a No Kill Facility. We are supported totally by donations and receive no government assistance. Most dogs are placed within a month or so. Occasionally a dog is not adopted. These dogs are loved and played with. They are well cared for. Often they live out there lives in our Sanctuary. You donations make this possible.
